Your estimate stays yours.

Salary, hourly-rate, bonus, pay-frequency, filing-status, and state selections are processed client-side in your browser to produce an estimate. Kipnet does not save these calculator inputs, send them to a Kipnet backend, or store them in a database.

Because the calculator works locally, closing or refreshing your browser does not create a Kipnet account or a server-side record of the estimate you entered.

Kipnet does not ask for or collect an email address, name, phone number, Social Security number, or other direct identifier to use the calculator. We do not sell calculator inputs or personal information to financial brokers, lenders, insurers, employers, or other third parties.

Kipnet is not a lead-generation service. Your use of an estimate does not enroll you in marketing outreach or create a broker referral.

Kipnet may use standard pseudonymous or anonymized browser cookies and similar identifiers for traffic analytics and for Google AdSense ad delivery. These technologies help measure aggregate site usage, limit repetitive ads, and deliver advertising. They are not used to read, transmit, or build advertising audiences from the salary, bonus, filing-status, or state values entered into the calculator.

Cookie and device identifiers can be treated as personal data where applicable law requires. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and review Google advertising controls through Google's ad settings. Third-party providers process their own technologies under their respective privacy notices.

Kipnet has no server-side retention period for calculator inputs because it does not receive them. Analytics and advertising providers may retain cookie or device data according to their own policies and applicable law. We do not provide calculator inputs to those providers.

This site may link to external resources. Those sites are governed by their own privacy practices, and Kipnet is not responsible for their content or data handling.

California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA to know, delete, correct, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, opt out of certain sales or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and receive non-discriminatory treatment for exercising applicable rights. Kipnet does not collect or sell calculator inputs, and it does not share those inputs for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Browser-level advertising or analytics choices may be available directly through the relevant provider and your browser controls. Where a request concerns personal data Kipnet actually controls, you may use a verified Kipnet contact method published on the site. We may need limited information to verify and respond to a request; do not include calculator inputs in that request.

If the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar law applies, you may have rights to be informed, access, correct, erase, restrict, object to processing, receive portable data, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, and complain to a relevant supervisory authority. These rights apply to personal data that an organization processes; Kipnet's calculator inputs are not collected by Kipnet.

For analytics or advertising identifiers, the relevant provider may be the appropriate point of contact. For personal data Kipnet controls, submit a request through a verified Kipnet contact method published on the site. We will respond as applicable law requires.
